My old pal Ian McLean coined the phrase "Vitamin M" when it would come time to get paid for a gig. Now I see my life in music as having two kinds of "Vitamin M", one for money and one for meaning. If I get enough of both, I am doing fine. It's always been important to get my music out there and connect and I realize I may have to do that from time to time without one of the Vitamin M's. With that in mind, over the next few months, I want to give you access to some tunes from my catalogue that I hope you'll find meaningful. Some will be unreleased tunes and some songs will be from previous recordings with a bit of back story on their creation. Follow this link to the Freebie Fridays page and remember to check back every Friday for a different song. Meeting you in the music is important to me whether it is in person at a gig or in an email about a song - hopefully there will be some "Vitamin M" there for both of us.
The summer is shaping up to be a very busy one for me with a bunch of free outdoor concerts in the greater Toronto area including shows at Union Station as part of Union Summer, concerts in the Village of Yorkville Park, Richmond Hill Canada Day Celebrations and Celtic Festivals in Fergus and Unionville. Check the SHOWS page for more details.
